If you're looking for SMStools you're at the right place. SMStools is a set of very simple Perl scripts that allows you to send SMS messages to your friend's GSM (or even to yourself :-) using the MTNSMS Gateway. SMStools package also provide a script (called smssent) that lists the status of the sent messages (delivered, pending or error).

There is also a script which can be called from your procmail which can parse an email and see if a command is inserted into it, then it executes it (in fact it's an alias to a command) and then you get the result on your GSM.

You can download the latest version by clicking here. The current version is 0.97 but is working without any known problem. Of course if you encounter any bugs just drop a mail to us.
